SadaPay strengthens its leadership team by appointing Tayseer Ali as CFO

We’re excited to announce that SadaPay has appointed Tayseer Ali as Chief Financial Officer. Tayseer previously served as the CFO of Mobilink Microfinance Bank, the institution behind the 20 million mobile wallet accounts of JazzCash. Before Mobilink, Tayseer was CFO of Pak China Investment Company under the leadership of Dr. Waqar Masood Khan, Pakistan’s former Secretary of Finance. The two have reunited as Dr. Waqar is now Chairman of the Board at SadaPay.

Tayseer, one of the youngest executives in Pakistan's financial industry, took his first C-suite role at 31. He’s a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) and a Chartered Accountant (CA), having qualified from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. His leadership has been key in driving financial strategies across various sectors.

“I feel privileged to be joining SadaPay as it moves into its final gear before launching commercially. I’m excited to be part of a leadership team that’s focused on completely rethinking innovation in financial services and look forward to executing on the company’s priorities, accelerating growth, and enhancing value for all stakeholders.”

— Tayseer Ali, Chief Financial Officer

Tayseer has held leadership roles in alternative market funds, consultancy, microfinance banking, and digital financial services, both locally and internationally. During his time at Mobilink Bank, he successfully led the growth strategy and financial services development.

“The position of CFO is key to any fintech, as it ensures both growth and sustainability. Tayseer is a perfect fit, and his addition to our executive team will be instrumental in helping SadaPay scale rapidly and profitably.”

— Dr. Waqar Masood Khan, Chairman of the Board

“Tayseer was one of the first friends I made when I began exploring the Pakistani market in 2018. His success at Mobilink Bank speaks for itself. Tayseer’s financial expertise and leadership will be a tremendous asset to SadaPay as we aim for new heights.”
