What is Sadapay? Is it safe? 

SadaPay utilizes the highest bank-level security and encryptions. We are governed by the State Bank of Pakistan under the Electronic Money Institution regulations. Furthermore, we are also registered locally with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan as SadaPay Pvt Ltd. Also, SadaPay utilizes systems that are PCI DSS compliant, so sensitive data is well protected and always encrypted. Also, as a regulated financial institution, SadaPay must abide by strict controls to protect user data, which we take very seriously!

 What are the payment methods through which i can pay the invoice?

You can pay the invoice using the following payment methods: Apple Pay, G Pay , Mastercard or VISA card (credit/debit). Unlike bank-to-bank transfers that often require SWIFT codes, our invoicing system handles card transactions. This means you won't need to provide a SWIFT code for payment.

Why am I being charged 3% as card processing fee?

The 3% card processing fee is charged to you as this fee is applied to cover the costs associated with processing international card payments. It includes expenses such as currency conversion, transaction processing, and associated fees imposed by financial institutions and payment processors.

To provide you with a clear example, let's say you have a payment link for $100. In this scenario:- You will pay $103, which includes the $100 payment amount plus the 3% card processing fee.

The card processing fee is standard for international payment processing services and helps ensure that international transactions can be processed smoothly and securely.

Why is a 3D secure (authentication) card is required to pay the invoice?

3D-Secure is a layer of extra protection that banks and merchants all over the world use to encourage safe, fraud-free online transactions 🌍 When a payment is made through a 3D-Secure card, the cardholder is required to prove their identity during the transaction process 👀

At the moment, we don't accept non-3DS enabled cards from clients 😬 We follow strict security protocols to make sure our business account is a safe platform for you, for your clients, and for other users 🙌

What is the expected processing time for the payment?

The expected processing time for the payment is 6 business days. This means that after the payment has been initiated/made, it will take approximately 6 business days for the amount to be processed and credited to the payee's account.

Please note that business days typically exclude weekends and public holidays. Therefore, if the payment is initiated on a business day, you can expect the amount to be credited to the payee's account within the next 6 business days.

Keep in mind that processing times may vary depending on the specific payment method, financial institutions involved, and other factors. It's always a good practice to communicate this processing time to all parties involved in the transaction to manage expectations effectively.

Do we accept payments from your country?

Our business account is designed to make it easy and affordable for freelancers to receive international payments from around the world. However, there are certain countries from which payments cannot be made due to regulatory restrictions. These countries include:

Afghanistan, Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Central African Republic, Congo (Democratic Republic of the), Croatia, Cuba, Ethiopia, India, Iran (Islamic Republic of), Iraq, Israel, Korea (Democratic People's Republic of), Kosovo, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Montenegro, Myanmar, Nicaragua, North Macedonia, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Slovenia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syrian Arab Republic, Venezuela (Bolivarian Republic of), Yemen, Zimbabwe.

Please note that these restrictions are based on regulatory requirements and may change over time. If you have questions about receiving payments from specific countries or need further assistance, please reach out to our support team for guidance.

If I wish to request a refund for this payment, how can I initiate the process?

If you wish to request a refund for a payment, especially in cases where services have not been rendered on time or there are other valid reasons for the refund, you can initiate the process by ensuring the following steps:

1. Compose an email: Send an email to invoicing.support@sadapay.pk. Please ensure that your email clearly explains the reason for the refund request and includes all relevant details, such as the payment link, invoice number, payment date, and any supporting documentation.

2. Provide a detailed explanation: In your email, provide a detailed explanation of why you are requesting a refund. Please be specific about the issue or problem that occurred with the payment or services.

Please note that the refund process may vary depending on SadaPay's policies and procedures. It's essential to adhere to their guidelines and provide all necessary information to facilitate a smooth refund process.

Can I raise a chargeback against the payments made?

Chargebacks can be initiated under certain circumstances, but eligibility depends on various factors, including the reason for the chargeback and your bank or card issuer's policies. Here are some key points to consider:-

Valid Reasons: Chargebacks are typically initiated for reasons such as unauthorized or fraudulent transactions, goods or services not received, misrepresentation, or disputes.

Documentation: To support your case, ensure you have documentation like receipts, emails, invoices, or other evidence related to the transaction.

Prompt Action: Banks and card issuers often have specific timeframes within which you must initiate a chargeback, so act promptly.

Communication: In some cases, it's advisable to try resolving the issue with the merchant before pursuing a chargeback.- Consequences: Keep in mind that chargebacks can have consequences for merchants, potentially including fees and damage to their reputation. Initiate a chargeback only when you believe you have a valid case.

Please note that chargeback rights and processes can vary depending on your location, payment method, and card issuer's policies. Contact your bank or card issuer for guidance on initiating a chargeback for your specific situation.

Remember that this information should serve as general guidance, and individuals should consult their financial institutions for precise details and assistance regarding chargebacks.

How can I apply for SadaBiz?

We're thrilled to hear that you're interested in opening a business account with us! 🥳To get started, please ensure that your biometric verification is done. Then you'll be able to see "Open a business account" option in the More section of the app. After you submit your details specially Profile link like Fiverr or upwork, our team will verify your details and approve your account within 2-3 business days. We look forward to assisting you with SadaBiz ❤️

What are the account limits?

The incoming, outgoing and maximum balance limit for the business account will be PKR 500,000. The current limits of Rs. 400,000 for personal account and Rs. 500,000 for business is set by the State Bank of Pakistan. We are hoping these are increased in the future. 💸

I signed up for SadaBiz but my account still hasn’t been approved. Why?

Our team makes sure to evaluate all applications within 2-3 business days. If it’s been more than 3 business days and your account still hasn’t been approved, it’s possible that the details you submitted while signing up were insufficient for us to determine that you’re a freelancer, or the services you provide do not qualify for SadaBiz 🙏 Either way, we’re really sorry for the inconvenience. Please reach out to us via the in-app chat so we can look into this and share an update.

What are the fees for receiving payments from abroad?

There’s a 3% card processing fee which is charged to your client and a 2% service fee which is charged to you. This means that if you were to generate a payment link for $100, your client would pay $103, and you would receive $98 (converted to PKR) in your account once this has been paid 💸

When can I expect to receive my payment once my client has paid?

You can expect to receive money in your account within 6 business days of your client making the payment 🥳

Can I keep funds received using SadaBiz in USD?

Your SadaBiz account is not a USD account. We’ve introduced an option that allows users to keep their earnings in USD, providing the flexibility to convert them to PKR when needed. This capability allows you to manage your finances more flexibly, holding funds in USD until you’re ready to convert them to PKR when you like.

Can I transfer my earnings to another foreign currency or international bank account in USD?

At the moment, SadaBiz doesn’t facilitate direct transfers of earnings in USD form to other foreign currency accounts. It’s important to note that SadaBiz isn’t a foreign currency account. Your earnings in USD will remain in your SadaBiz account as “available earnings” and can only be withdrawn in PKR.

Can I make purchases in USD using my SadaBiz virtual card?

As of now, Sadabiz virtual card transactions are processed using your PKR balance, not your USD earnings. This means that the purchases made with the Sadabiz virtual card will be deducted from the PKR amount shown in the “Current Balance” section, not your USD earnings.

How can I make withdrawals from my Sadabiz account? 

At the moment we aren’t providing physical cards to withdraw the amount from an ATM, but you can easily use your business virtual card to make payments online and you can also transfer out the amount to your SadaPay personal account or any other account you may have. We might launch an exclusive debit card to go with your business account sometime next year but we can’t commit to a timeline.

Is this like a payment gateway? Can I integrate SadaBiz with my website?

At the moment it isn’t possible to integrate SadaBiz with websites since this isn’t a payment gateway. Invoices generated using SadaBiz are for one time use only, and expire once paid 🙏
