SadaPay signs MOU with Punjab Information Technology Board

LAHORE: The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SadaPay, a digital mobile wallet company, to provide eRozgaar freelancers with secure and easy access to their funds. This partnership aims to support freelancers by offering a convenient and low-cost banking alternative.

The MoU was signed by PITB’s eGovernance DG Sajid Latif and SadaPay CEO Brandon Timinsky. Also present were SadaPay’s Marketing Head Muhammad Asad, PITB Director Salman Amin, Senior Programme Manager Ahmed Islam, focal person Wishal Naveed, and other senior officials.

During the signing ceremony, DG Sajid Latif remarked, “eRozgaar, a joint project between PITB and the Youth Affairs, Sports, Archeology & Tourism (YASAT) Department, has successfully graduated over 16,000 students across 32 centers in Punjab, generating over Rs230 million in online earnings. The MoU with SadaPay will provide eRozgaar graduates with dedicated freelancer accounts and customized debit cards at no cost.”

SadaPay CEO Brandon Timinsky highlighted, “SadaPay will issue free accounts and debit cards to eRozgaar freelancers for three years, with no monthly or annual fees. Additionally, freelancers can enjoy fee-free transfers below Rs10,000, and a reduced fee of Rs8 for transfers ranging from Rs10,000 to Rs250,000.”

This partnership marks a significant step towards empowering Pakistan’s growing freelancer community with easy access to secure financial services.
