About SadaPay

SadaPay is transforming financial services in Pakistan with a digital-first experience that makes managing money simple, transparent, and hassle-free. With over three-quarters of the population still unbanked, we believe financial services need a radical shift. With SadaPay, all you need is a CNIC, a phone number, and a smartphone to get started; no paperwork, no long waits. Our 2 million users have left behind their worst banking frustrations, no hidden fees, free local transfers, and a payment experience that’s actually enjoyable. Pair that with friendly customer service and a vibrant debit card, and suddenly, finance doesn’t just work, it feels fun! 🚀

Why This Role Is Important

At SadaPay, design plays a critical role in building trust with users who are managing their money digitally, often for the first time. Design here is not cosmetic; it directly impacts activation, transaction success, error reduction, and customer confidence.

We are hiring a mid-level UX/UI Designer who can independently own meaningful parts of the product experience. You’ll work on real, shipped flows where clarity and usability matter, and where mistakes cost users time, money, or trust.

What You Will Own

  • End-to-end UX and UI for one or more core product flows used daily by customers
  • User flows, wireframes, interaction design, and final UI for shipped features
  • Iteration on existing experiences based on feedback, usage data, and constraints
  • Contributions to the design system and component library

As a Sadanaut, you will:

  • Translate product goals, user needs, and constraints into clear, usable user flows
  • Design mobile-first experiences with strong usability and simplicity
  • Create wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes using Figma
  • Work closely with product managers and engineers from problem definition through delivery
  • Participate in design critiques and product discussions, influencing decisions with rationale
  • Improve existing flows by identifying usability issues, drop-offs, and error points
  • Apply accessibility, consistency, and scalability standards across designs

What it takes to become a Sadanaut:

Experience

  • 2–4 years of professional experience in UX/UI or product design
  • Experience working on consumer-facing mobile products
  • Portfolio demonstrating shipped work and end-to-end ownership of flows

UX & UI Skills

  • Strong grasp of user flows, interaction design, and usability principles
  • Ability to frame problems, explore trade-offs, and explain design decisions
  • Experience simplifying complex or sensitive flows (e.g., financial, transactional)
  • Working knowledge of design systems and component-based design

Tools & Collaboration

  • Strong proficiency in Figma
  • Comfortable collaborating with PMs and engineers and defending design choices
  • Experience working in iterative, cross-functional product teams

Mindset

  • You care about outcomes, not just visuals
  • You design within constraints rather than avoiding them
  • You take ownership of what ships and how it performs
  • You actively seek feedback and iterate based on learning

This Role Is Not a Fit If:

  • Your portfolio is mostly concept work or visual-only designs
  • You have not shipped real product features
  • You expect others to define UX problems for you
  • You prefer polished mockups over messy, real-world flows

Perks of being at SadaPay:

  • USD-Denominated Salary: At SadaPay, all salaries are pegged to USD to help protect team members from inflation. If the dollar depreciates against the PKR, you'll always receive a minimum payment equal to your PKR salary.
  • Remote-First Work Culture: We’re a remote-first company, allowing our team to work from the office, from home, or anywhere they choose. Teams may coordinate internally to determine if occasional office presence is needed.
  • Flexible Leave Policy: We offer a flexible leave policy to support a sustainable work-life balance. We trust our colleagues to manage their work and leave responsibly.
  • Comprehensive Insurance Coverage: Every Sadanaut, regardless of grade, receives Life and Medical Insurance (covering both outpatient and inpatient care), including immediate family and parents.
  • Provident Fund Contributions: Provident fund contributions are provided to all team members to support their financial growth.
  • Technology and Resources: Each colleague receives a laptop and additional resources (relevant to their role) to ensure they can work efficiently and comfortably.

Equal Opportunity Provider:

At SadaPay, we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and valued. We strive to make every Sadanaut feel comfortable and respected in the workplace. Discrimination of any kind has no place here; instead, we promote a culture of respect and mutual support among colleagues. Our recruitment process is built on fairness and equality for all, irrespective of race, age, gender, color, religion, social status, disability, or ethnicity.
