Why is this role important?
Our Android app is where most of our customers experience SadaPay. As an Android Engineer, your work will directly shape how users send money, pay bills, and manage their finances every day. You’ll help build an app that people rely on and trust; where performance, reliability, and a smooth user experience truly matter.
As a Sadanaut you will:
- Build, test, and maintain user-facing features in our modular Android application using Kotlin.
- Write clean, testable code and implement comprehensive testing strategies across unit, integration, and UI layers.
- Contribute to and optimize our CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable builds and deployments.
- Apply security best practices and measures to protect user data in our fintech environment.
- Implement monitoring and analytics to track app performance, user behavior, and stability in production.
- Work within and improve our multi-module architecture to enhance scalability and team velocity.
- Debug, profile, and optimize application performance, build times, and Gradle configurations.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
What it takes to become a Sadanaut:
- 3–5 years of experience in Android development, working on production-grade mobile applications
- Solid understanding of software testing, modular architecture, and CI/CD principles.
- Basic understanding of APIs and how mobile apps consume data.
- Knowledge of mobile security and production monitoring/analytics.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to writing high-quality code.
- Excellent communication and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
Nice to have:
- Production experience with Jetpack Compose and building modular Android applications.
- Background in fintech, banking, or other regulated industries with high security standards.
- Hands-on experience with Gradle optimization, build automation, or DevOps tooling.
- Practical knowledge of monitoring tools, performance profiling, and memory leaks detection
