SadaPay today announced the appointment of banking industry veteran Omer Salimullah as Chief Operating Officer. This appointment marks another step toward realizing SadaPay’s ambition to become the premier digital wallet in Pakistan and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

As COO, Omer will oversee the day-to-day operations of SadaPay, ensuring the highest standards in product quality, processes, and customer experience.

In his previous role as Head of Open Banking and Ecosystem Development at JS Bank, Omer launched Pakistan’s first Open Banking platform, bringing agility to the bank and accelerating time-to-market for innovative initiatives. He also led the Alternate Distribution Channels (ADC) department at Meezan Bank Limited—the largest Islamic bank in Pakistan—where he played a key role in conceptualizing and executing their digital strategy. Prior to that, he headed the Customer Experience vertical at ABN AMRO Pakistan.
